VES Awards:’Star Wars’ Wins Outstanding VFX

The fourteenth yearly Visual Effects Society Awards were displayed Tuesday evening at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

In the categories for photoreal highlights, Star Wars: The Force Awakens won awards, for remarkable VFX in a photoreal highlight, extraordinary models, made situations and virtual cinematography. The Revenant has additionally won three trophies, in the categories for best supporting VFX, extraordinary energized execution (the bear) and best compositing (for the bear assault). Frantic Max: Fury Road beat the classification for impacts recreation.

Star Wars, Ex Machina, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian and The Revenant are assigned for the Oscar in VFX. In nine of the 13 earlier years, the champ of the VES Award in the top classification (already called exceptional VFX in a VFX-driven element) went ahead to win the Oscar in VFX.
