An incredible animated series of handmade drawings showcasing the many faces of David Bowie has gone viral in the wake of the 69-year-old iconic singer’s shock death.
UK artist Helen Green created the ‘Time May Change Me’ gif last year.
The images show the many personas the singer adopted throughout his career, from his experiences as an extra-terrestrial rock star Ziggy Stardust to his alter ego The Thin White Duke, from his album Station to Station.
The artist posted new drawings of the musician just days ago on January 9, Bowie’s birthday, only two days prior to his death from cancer.
“Working on perhaps my most cheerful David Bowie pattern to date. Happy 69th birthday to the Thin White Duke himself! Can’t wait to listen to the new album,” she wrote.
In the gif, the artist merged 29 drawings she had drawn over her career.
The animation has gone viral again in the wake of the singer’s death.
