In this competitive era where everyone wants to set themselves apart from the rest of the world, it becomes a challenge to accomplish that. Since childhood, one has been taking part in various competitions and olympiads pertaining mostly to maths, science, english, hindi and other such subjects to be a notch higher than others. What lacks here is that for people who want to venture into the creative fields like animation, visual effects, web designing, don’t really have a common exam which would help them be a step ahead from the rest of the world. To bridge this gap, The Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society-Pune in collaboration with TheGraphicSlate.com is all set to launch India’s first ever Olympiad pertaining to Graphics Designing, Web Designing, Animation and Editing & Visual Effects.
What is Animation Olympiad?
Animation Olympiad is the most unique platform for all the creative aspirants (Students and Professionals) of Animation and Multimedia field to come on a common Platform and show their fundamental skills. What sets it apart from the rest of the animation related exams is that it’s a National level competition and is giving platform to students as well as professionals to test their knowledge in their own creative fields and at the same time, get more educated about it.
MCE Society’s Director, Rishi Acharya gave more light on why this initiative was started by saying. “The objective to start this initiative is to provide an interesting platform to design and animation community of India. There are thousands of students and professionals working in this field and they need a motivation factor to rate their skills and talent. Animation Olympiad is a right platform for that.
